SKS Estonia Textile is implementing a production development project with the support of EAS and KreDex within the framework of the “Investment support for small and medium-sized enterprises in Ida-Viru” program.

To increase production and release new products, SKS Estonia Textile OÜ is carrying out a project to expand and modernize production from August 2023 to June 2025.

The project includes the purchase of equipment, the release of new types of products and the development of a production management and planning system. The project is carried out with the support of EAS ja KreDex under the program «Ida-Viru väike- ja keskmise suurusega ettevõtjate investeeringute toetus»

SKS Estonia Textile is conducting a “green” audit to facilitate business model enhancement involves assessing current practices, evaluating required process modifications, and identifying additional measures to advance towards a sustainable future with the support of EAS and KreDex and NextGenerationEU fund. SKS Estonia Textile OÜ is carrying out a project from September 2023 to February 2024. Total amount of funding was 9940 EUR.

We received an Innovation Voucher grant of €5,280 for the development of a novel solution to reduce Resorcinol-Formaldehyde-Latex (RFL) waste (Project number: 2021-2027.1.01.24-0450). The project’s objective was to minimize waste in products impregnated with RFL by introducing optimal equipment cleaning measures.

Specialists from TalTech Virumaa College developed a technical solution featuring a chemical cleaning method that significantly improves upon existing practices. Unlike traditional methods, the proposed solution preserves equipment surfaces, effectively preventing conditions that lead to waste generation.

This innovative approach promotes sustainable production by reducing waste, improving process efficiency, and extending the lifespan of equipment.
